About The Procedure
There have been incredible advances in solutions for tooth restoration and reconstruction. A dental crown is often the best option for a tooth that is broken, severely decayed, weakened, or has a large existing filling. Sometimes referred to as a “cap,” a crown is a custom-made restoration that fits over your natural tooth to restore its strength, function, and appearance. Crowns are carefully designed to blend seamlessly with your surrounding teeth, helping you maintain a healthy, natural-looking smile. During the procedure, the tooth is gently prepared and digital impressions are taken to ensure a precise fit. Your custom crown is then fabricated to provide long-lasting durability and protection. Once placed, a crown can significantly improve both the health and aesthetics of your smile.
Conventional Bridges
Bridges are a conventional way to replace a missing tooth. Two appointments are required for bridges. First, the teeth on either side of the missing tooth are prepared for crowns, and a temporary bridge is made to cover the prepped teeth. During the second appointment, the custom-made bridge is fitted and adjusted. When the adjustments are complete, the bridge is cemented into place.
Veneers and Implants
Veneers are a popular restorative and cosmetic option for enhancing your smile. These ultra-thin porcelain facings are bonded to the front of your teeth to improve their appearance. Veneers can correct concerns such as discoloration, uneven shape, minor spacing, and worn enamel, helping you achieve a more balanced, natural-looking smile.
Dental implants are an excellent solution for replacing a missing tooth. We work closely with trusted oral surgeons and periodontists who perform the implant placement procedure. The specialist surgically places the implant into the jawbone, and a healing period of approximately three to six months allows the implant to properly integrate with the bone. During this time, follow-up visits occur with the specialist.
Once the implant site has fully healed and is ready for restoration, you will return to our office for the final phase of treatment. We custom design and place the implant-supported crown, restoring both function and aesthetics to your smile.
